Questions families ask first
How quickly can care start?
It depends on what is needed and on our carers' availability in your area. We visit and assess first, because agreeing to a package before anyone has seen the situation is how care goes wrong. Call 0203 375 4047 and we can give you an honest answer about timing.
How much does home care cost in London?
It depends on how many hours are needed and what kind of support. You get a written figure after the free home assessment, not a guess over the phone. Our guide to paying for care explains council funding, direct payments and NHS Continuing Healthcare.
Will it be the same carer every time?
As far as possible, yes. We are a small provider and we build a small consistent team around each client, so you see familiar faces.
Are you registered with the CQC?
Yes. We were registered by the Care Quality Commission on 31 October 2023. CQC has not carried out its first inspection yet, so we do not have a rating yet. You can check our registration on the Care Quality Commission website.
Is the assessment free?
Yes, and there is no obligation. Jackie, who runs the service, does most assessments herself.
How long are the visits?
Visit length is agreed at the assessment, based on what needs doing. Personal care should never be rushed, so we plan enough time for each visit to be done properly.
